My Mandalas
Mandalas are defined as exotic geometric designs that symbolize the essence of the universe. More ancient than the earliest written religions, they were created to symbolize songs shared among people about the world around us. They were later used as an aid to meditation in Hinduism and Buddhism.
For me they are total therapy. Each mandala is a process and a revelation of whatever is going on in my life. The "painting" part is easy. It's figuring out what to do with the space that takes forever. Each one is a piece of my soul and life story, so I tend to keep my originals.
I have some copies available that I have repainted to look just like the original - sometimes even better. They are on 20" x 20" canvas with gold frame and sell for $1,200. I also have some 8" x 8" high quality prints in a 12" x 12" frame with custom mat. They are beautiful and sell for $240 each.
Thank you for checking out my site and my mandalas.

Mootz Mandala in honor of my mom, Marilyn Ann (Stoelting) Benson (7/1/37 - 9/18/20), known to us as The Mutz. She grew up on a farm in N. Dakota and loved hummingbirds and roses. She raised two daughters who love and miss her very much. This was such therapy for me.
